At school we had a 5th grade family Christmas party. We decorated gingerbread houses, played a shoe game and played a candy game where you have to unwrap it.

I went on a field trip. On the field trip my mom was a helper. We went to the National Museum. The first thing we saw was an asteroid. The teacher was speaking Spanish. I didn’t understand anything. We went through three floors. On the first floor there were old sculptures from Indians and pots from archeological digs. On the second floor there was a room that had dead skeletons cuddled up in holes. It was one of their old traditions to bury somebody important in the little holes on the edge of a cliff. On the third floor there were many pictures. They had some old time rooms, like a pool table room. This whole museum used to actually be a Colombian prison. On the third floor they still had a cell with a display that showed all the handcuffs and chains they used. My favorite part of the museum was the dead skeletons…and I’m very glad they’re not living skeletons!!!
